Megan Itani has been working in the field of education for the past 18 years. Graduating from WSU (2002) with a BA in Elementary Education and Special Education she taught many years in the classroom. She served in a variety of roles in the local school district while obtaining her M.A. Special Education and M.Ed. in Educational Leadership.
She is on leave from Pullman School District as the Special Education Director while she works towards her Ph.D. in Special Education. She hopes to concentrate on students transitions and making the connection between research and practice for preservice teachers. She is currently teaching Special Education 420, Teaching in Inclusive Classrooms.
